Venmo - Cryptocurrency adoption increases

Venmo - Cryptocurrency adoption increases

Venmo, a mobile payment service and digital wallet owned by PayPal, announced that more than 70 million of its users are able to access cryptocurrency assets. Venmo 's customers will be able to buy and sell Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum.

Like any other eWallet, for every transaction there will be fees applied, while initially there will be a flat fee of 50 cents for every transaction below $25.00. For larger amounts, fees will be adjusted accordingly as per a % ratio.

Let's see if the crypto hype and the dogecoin madness will have more and more affect to other digital wallets and payment applications, allowing cryptocurrency access to their users.

Tesla recently announced that accepts payments in bitcoin for purchasing cars, without exchanging or converting these bitcoins to stable coins or USD ($). Visa and Mastercard have already started projects for accepting crypto payments on their networks. It seems that we have just started and we are witnessing the first steps of a mass adoption for cryprocurrencies in real life, real ''market'' purchase cases.

One small detail though. Keep in mind that both sender and receiver using Venmo, have to live in the US.
